Brb just gonna ask if they want to trade for a 2006 Legacy wagon, even though I’m sure they won’t want to.

Nothing at all, I’m sure there’s no way that any of the thoughts I’m having could go wrong

Auto? :(

I don’t mind an auto daily, if it’s not a stupid transmission. My drive to work is mostly just straight streets with lots of traffic lights. Also I’ve never seen a V8 e39 touring for sale here before, so I want it regardless of the transmission

As far as auto’s go, it’s actually a pretty damn good one. Much prefer the manual, but if you’re gonna get stuck with an auto from that era you could do a hell of a lot worse.
Those wheels alone would probably sell for 4 grand... which is good, because they’re lack of mention regarding the timing chain guide service makes me think it’s probably never been done, and all in it’s probably 3 grand at a shop or just over 1k diy. Then we’ll need to discuss the suspension and what has and hasn’t been done to date.
Would be fun though.

Nothing, besides literally everything. But I'm sure it'll be fine.

Yeah I would likely sell those wheels and get a set of style 32s instead, maybe m pars. I’m definitely gonna ask about suspension and the chain guides, that is if they’re interested in a trade. I know a guy who does chain guides for pretty cheap, luckily.
